While Barack Obama wants to revitalize the coal industry with a $150 Billion investment in technololgy and clean coal, Senator McCain will abandon coal for nuclear power.
Blooomberg.com reports that, calling Palin’s charge a “last-minute, desperate distortion” of Obama’s record, Governor Ted Strickland of Ohio warns that while John McCain wants to abandon coal, Obama wants to invest $150 Billion in clean coal and a new energy economy.
Strickland said.
After John McCain said he’d like to “transition away from coal entirely,” his campaign is hardly in a position to criticize a coal-state senator like Barack Obama who has outlined a $150 billion investment in clean coal and other technologies to create jobs and build a new energy economy.”
Ask yourselves what happens to coal if McCain builds his nuclear power plants.
